Delays, Delays, Delays
For those of you who are anxiously awaiting details of the new lease accounting rule changes, you will have to wait a great deal longer. Indications are that the second Exposure Draft will not now be released until March next year. With a four-month response time, this would mean that rules announcement would be unlikely before the latter part of 2012. The next question from there is what will be the Effective Date? The general consensus is that this could be 2015, although there is hope that, because of the need for comparative accounting for 1 or two years before, this might be 2016.

General Manager Appointed at Innervision

We are delighted to announce the addition of Jeremy Standing to the Innervision Team as General Manager. Jeremy has worked in the leasing business since 1985 and brings an enormous amount of experience at this significant time of Innervision's growth. His role as Managing Director at Key Finance and time at Bombardier; experience of vendor programs; knowledge of leasing IT, aircraft, rail, vehicles and general assets, will greatly assist with Innervision's broadening client requirements. In particular, Jeremy's knowledge of cross-border and international leasing will prove invaluable when applied to two significant global leasing programs that are now under Innervision's management and control.
